beatcon 2026: Program, the New beatcon:Labs and Duo Mastering On Site
On October 2 and 3, 2026, Berlin’s House of Music will once again become a meeting point for producers, artists and audio engineers. This year’s beatcon brings together producer talks, panels, live performances and feedback sessions. New for 2026 are the beatcon:Labs, designed to bring quite a few of these topics a little closer to what actually happens in the studio.
The beatcon 2026 program

The Main Stage features some of the most interesting names in current German rap production. Bazzazian will talk about musical identity and developing a signature sound, while Alexis Troy and Minhtendo use RIN’s music to explore how an artist’s sound can evolve across several albums.
Saturday continues with Funkvater Frank, among others, before WATERBOUTUS takes a closer look at the production behind Juju’s new album. There will also be talks about contracts, splits and the music business, alongside beat and mix feedback sessions, listening sessions, contests and live performances.
For us, that mix is probably what makes beatcon most interesting. You get to hear how other producers and engineers work, sure, but between sessions you also tend to end up talking to the people behind those productions pretty quickly.
New: the beatcon:Labs

With the beatcon:Labs, beatcon 2026 is adding a new hands-on area. Instead of spending the entire day in front of a stage, the Labs focus more on actual workflows, smaller sessions and gear you can try out on site. All Labs are included with a regular beatcon ticket.
There are five areas. The Creative:Lab focuses on beatmaking, songwriting and live sessions. The Sound:Lab covers synthesis, sampling and sound design. In the Vocal:Lab, the focus shifts to recording, editing and vocal production, while the Mix:Lab is all about mixing, mastering and studio gear. Finally, the Community:Lab creates space for networking, feedback and collaboration.
At first, it may sound like a fairly small addition to the event. But we think it could actually change the way you experience beatcon quite a bit. Production, recording and mixing workflows simply make more sense when you can see them happen in a real session rather than only hearing about them in a presentation.
Duo Mastering in the Mix:Lab

This year, beatcon will also be a little more personal for us: audio.tips will be there together with Duo Mastering for GEMA.
On Saturday, Duo Mastering will also be part of the Mix:Lab, where they will mix the winning track of the GEMA Song Contest in a live mixing session. The Mix:Lab program also covers topics such as hip-hop mastering, mixing and different studio workflows.
More than anything, though, we’re looking forward to two days of music, production and meeting people. If you’re heading to beatcon 2026 too, there’s a good chance we’ll see you somewhere around the House of Music.
